Hey whats up, well the 1984 300D i just got has a serious sun roof problem. It operated slowly at first then the switch was stuck and it took me a second to figure out what the noise was, Now it wont close completely. Help, what do i do to fix this?

 

there is a manual open close in the trunk on the driver side for the sunroof cable. in the trunk toward the front of the trunk close to the back seat might have to remove a trunk panel if your car has any. thats the only help i can give you. Im not oo sure what tool is used but i think its either an allen or regular hex nut.

 

Hey thanks for the tip. Got kinda frustrated and forced it shut. Wish i would have read your tip sooner. Haha. so does anyone know how to fix/replace the motor. or is someting in the cable. Im thinking i got taken on this car.
