Hi, I'm new to Mercedes E class and I have enjoyed the motorfor a yearnow, but a strange stale water like smell has started coming into the cab from the centre heater vents. It has me beat - any ides anyone please. Thanks Peter

 

alot of newer mercedes are having this porblem. it seems the heater cases are holding water and causing the odor. mercedes has fixes for this problem. if your car is in warranty bring it in to the dealer. there are multiples diagnostic trouble bulletins for this.
