Stop and die
Hi,
I'm new to the forum, and I have a major problem (headache) with my '84 380SE. It runs like a champ, but ...
When I come to a stop, the rpms drop to "0." The engine sometimes recovers, but sometimes it dies. It restarts immediately.
Any ideas? My mechanic has been wrestling with this for more than a month. We don't think it's a vacuum leak. Also not the fuel pump. Also not the idle control module (replaced it two years ago). Timing is fine, too.
My mechanic and I are really scratching our heads ... and I don't have much hair left. Help, and thanks.
