Default Steering Wheel Position too high

Does anyone else feel that when fully pulled out, the steering wheel seems to be positioned way too high.... pointing to the roof of the car ? I have a 90 560SEC and drive with the seat pretty far back due to long legs. Is there any way to change the angle of the dangle ?

Thanks,
Mike

NO, not on my car, but the steering column does have a slight tilt upward. Perhaps you shouldn't pull it out that far, I have a friend with the same problem, long legs, he doesn't have a Mercedes, but a Bimmer and I had a Bimmer before the Benz and their steering wheels adjusted in and out and up and down, as does Audi, and other makes. Do you have power seats? try lowering the seat as far down as it does an readjusting the steering wheel? What is a dangle?

if you got long legs, the chance is that you might have long arms too enough to reach the steering wheel.

Put a dictionary on the seat. Or, get some silicone injections in your butt.

Long legs and long arms..... when the wheel is fully out and the seat back the top of the wheel is level with my chin :-(

You must like the wheel right down in your lap? The top of my wheel is level with my nose and it's close to being in a neutral position.
