Took the '74 240d out yesterday for it's first real test run since I've had it. Car is actually running better and better the more I drive it, but it's still not 100%. However, i did notice a rattle in the steering column when I drive on rough roads. Sounds like a chatter. What would cause this? Is there a bolt somewhere that could be coming loose? Sounds like it's in the cab, but it could be just traveling up the line.
