Default Starting problems 560Sec

I've been having numerous problems with my car as of lately. I own a 1991 560Sec. Just over 151,000. For awhile now, I've been having trouble getting the car to start. Replaced the cold start valve, fuel filter, spark plugs, distributor cap & rotor. Trying to get this SOB to start up every time. As soon as I replaced the spark plugs, engine started shaking and lost lots of power/acceleration. Doesn't seem like it's firing on all cylinders anymore. If I floor it, revs up real high, slow acceleration and then will slam into the next gear. I had been using starter fluid for awhile to just get it started, but I would have to rev up the engine for a couple mins before putting it in drive, just to make sure it wouldn't stall out on me. If the car was driven within the previous 1-2 hours, it would start up. Which is why I originally replaced the cold start. Not seeing any change though. Just this week I replaced the distributor cap & rotor and now it won't start AT ALL! Tried looking for an arc between a spark plug and the engine, but didn't see one. Anyway, if someone could help me with these problems I'm having that would be great. Thanks
