2006 E 350, after driving for a while, get a very bad order coming from the a/c, almost like a grease odor, think it is coming from evaporator. Am being told it is common for 06 models, something on the evaporator gets heated, and bang, the odor.

Taken in to dealer, they are no help. Cant make it happen when they are in the car, happens at will.

Anyone else heard of this?

If it's not from the cabin filter, it must come from something foul in the intake portion of the cabin air.
