I have a European model 1977 450SL
I want to add LED daytime running lights which require 1.2Amps
I want a source of power that turns them on whenever the engine (ignition?) is on.
Can I connect it to the ignition circuit? Can it handle the additional 1.2A load?
Where would be a convenient place to tap into it?

If not where can I pick this power up ? I suppose the 'accessory' circuit that runs readio etc would work too?
