Have recently purchased a '93 190e. Cruise control isn't working. Mechanic says that there is power at the input and output of the switch and somehow determined that the actuator is right but he can't find the cruise amplifier unit. He bills himself as a European car mechanic but even with his manuals, he seems not to be able to find it. He tells me that the manual points to the underdash on the passenger side but he can't find it there. Anyone have any help for me? I would surely appreciate it.

Additional issues include a radio that can barely be heard even when on high volume.

I would be grateful for recommendations and contact info for auto wreckers/junkyards that specialize in MB parts at really fair prices.

should have bought a 95 Accord....no known problems, fewer troubles, easy to work on. (that's what i would have told you had u dated me. lol.)

but i am sure you saved a few bucks by buying a benz.
