Hi,

I have a (UK) 1994 SL320.
As summer is just approaching i tried to remove the hard top but this didn't work.

I engaged the switch and the light flashed but no mechanical enagement of the release mechanism could be heard. Nothing happened. (No audible alarm).

I checked the fuses for this and all were intact.

Interestingly the manual roll bar raise did not work either.

I am assuming that there is maybe not an interlock made or a power interuption somewhere.

Any ideas where to start looking?
Any help greatly appreciated.

i had the same problem on my 91 300 and i had to release it manually and it worked fine from there
