Default SL Manual Transmission Conversion

Hey!

Is a manual transmission conversion possible for 1990-2000 SL500 & SL600's? I know the 300SL from 1990-1993 was available with a 5 speed manual in very limited numbers. Are parts available to setup clutch linkage, flywheel, and transmission? What are transmission options? Is there a history of such conversions? Were the V8 and V12 engines available with manual transmissions in Europe?

Thank you for the information!
Jamie

all uses automatic transmission from SL320 to SL600.

the body was too light and too much power on the engine. you might end up turning 360 degrees everytime you accelerate on icy road.

it is possible to convert if you have a good engineer.
