shift knob replacement
I've never acutally owned a stick, so I won't give personal advice. But I found this:

on auto trans all you have to do is twist the bottom lock to the left youll feel the lower **** collar drop 1/4 inch and pull straight up as hard as you can ***BE CAREFULL NOT TO HIT OR BREAK THE SUN ROOF IT TAKES A LITTLE MUSCLE ***
the put the new one on i always gave it a thump down with the palm of my hand to make sure its seated the twist the lock collar to rt so it fits flush
