Service A-Oil Change

Service A-Oil Change
I have a 2003 C230, is it easy to do an oil change? If I do it myself, what kind of oil and how do I reset the sensor? What else is needed beside the oil change when Service A lights up. I would bring it to the dealer, but they charge $250 for service A. Any suggestions?
