scn for ecm & Tcm

hi, anyone knows how to perfrom scn for engine & transmission control module for mb211? Recently my ecm & tcm kong off. I found a replacement used ecm & tcm, but I needs to perform scn. I had cehck with the dealers, and was told that i need to go online or through dealers workshop. That cost me a bomb. any cheaper ways of doing this scn?

ECM's need to be coded. To do this you need specialist equipment only available from MB dealers or some SPECIALISR garages.
However if you are replacing the ECM from one car to another (of the same type/specification) I believe you should be able to avoid the need for coding since the unit will already be correctly configured.
It is possible however that the software searches for VIN and mileage (mileage anti tamper) in which case you may end up with a mileage problem on the cluster until the unit is correctly coded.

but is there any way re-code the mileage and vin inorder to overcome this problem?

Yes.......
but you cannot do it yourself without VERY expensive equipment.
The stealer will only charge about 25USD to code a new or replacement cluster for you. Not unreasonable.
