so i took my benz to a mb dealership shop, told me it would take 2-3 hours to get to the ignition coil. im ok with engines and it took me an hour to get the coil out. the shop told me my oil sending unit is sending oil straight into my wiring harness to my ignition coil and thats what they think made it fualt. the plug and the reciever part of the coil both have oil on it, but im looking at it and not sure how oil could get there through the vinyl covering of the cords.

any ideas? i just dont want to pay 1300 for a new coil when it can be something else. he also said replace the oil sending unit, but the oil just doesnt make sense...
