S320 fuel starvation

Default S320 fuel starvation
My 1992 s320 has an intermittent fault. It occasionally stalls or lacks in power like it is starving for fuel . I have replaced the filter next to the pumps but nochange . Does the vehicle have a suction screen in the tank? Does the pump relay play up intermittently? Any ideas
