Replacing Driver Air Bag...Reset SRS computer or Replace?
I got a C230 that had hit the curb really hard and popped the driver airbag.
I'm replacing the airbag, but can the dealer or other MB shops reset the SRS unit or does it have to be replaced like Hondas, etc?
Please reply if you've done this (reset the SRS computer after an airbag deployment)

Wow hit a curb and the Air Bag went off. This should not have happened! Mercedes have thresholds of srs deployment. Did the ETR in your seatbelt deploy? This should happen first. If all systems have been repaired then the dealer or anyone with a good Mercedes DAS system can reset it.
