Replacing door check on E420
Anyone ever do this? Overall the door works ok, but clicks on open/close and just isn't as smooth as it should be. Part is cheap only $29.00 but seems like it could be pretty labor intensive unless I'm missing something obvious.
Thanks again!!
Thanks again!!
Hi:
It's not very difficult. I've changed them on my vehicle twice without any problems. I was going to get the dealer to do them the first time but the cost was outrageous. Just take your time and you will have no problems. By the way, I purchased the replacement parts from ebay and they were $10.00 each and it was the exact same part as Mercedes was selling.
