Hi. Can anyone offer any help regarding replacing the lift struts on the rear hatch of a 1995 E320 W124? I've owned this great car for 9 years and the rear hatch lift struts are getting weaker by the month.

I know some of the trim will need to come off inside the hatch but just wanted to know if there are any word of wisdom from one who has walked this path! Thanks
