I have a 97' SL 320 that i just picked up and one of the 6.5'' Bose speakers seems to be blown. Where can I find a replacement speaker without spending $300 a pair at Bose? Is there another kind of speaker that will work as a replacement?..plz help

2000 E430. I recently completed the fix for the temp and clock pixels (adding rubber strips to make sure the ribbon cable is firmly against the circuit board) but now the cluster background lighting is dim in certain spots. For example, half of the speedo is bright while the other half is dim. I pulled the cluster back out and checked the bulbs and made sure they were secure but problem still remains.

Suggestions? I've heard that this is a risk with the pixel fix but I searched the forum and couldn't find a resolution to the dimming problem. Please help.

I have a 98 c 230 with over 200 k miles and it will die and not start
up again after driving for 20 mins. If I let it sit for 30 mins it will start and do the same thing. I have replaced the fuel filter and am thinking about thefuel pump and or the relay. Thanks in advance for any help !

I have a 2006 E350 station wagon. One problem; when it rains or the car is washed and the car sits awhile there is an obvious greasy offensive smell (not gas or mould) that permeates the cabin. The dealer and I have gone crazy trying to find the source. Not the AC since the AC smells clean as a bell as soon as it is turned on and the air clears soon after driving the car with the AC or windows open for awhile. Any ideas?

Hi! My 1999 C250TDi has served me well for 195000km. I recently had the turbo reconditioned - the only major issue I ever had with it. I now notice some oil in the pipes from the intercooler to the inlet manifold. I had a compression test done, and all 5 cylinders' pressure is very close to 20 bar, with no significant differences between any of them. What could be the cause of the oil, should I be overly concerned and if so, what solutions/suggestions do you have? Thanks in advance!

Greetings, does anyone have any ideas why my 97 sl500 yellow flashing light starts flashing at about 35mph. Here is what I have gathered so far. The car seems to drive fine most of the time, without the flashing light or any other issues. It seems at the end of a hot summer day, the car starts off fine, then when I get to about 35mph the yellow light starts flashing and there is some minor roughness and hesitation. As long as I keep the speed under 35 it doesn't flash and the car seems to drive fine. Then after a couple of miles, I can continue with the acceleration and everything seems fine and is there is no flashing yellow light. Thanks for any help you can offer.

 

I was wondering if you would know if it would be possible to hook up a rockford fosgate subwoofer to the 2006 c230sport stock radio or would i have to get a whole new system in order to hook it up

I have a S430 and sometimes it wont start and the engine turns over but sounds like it is not firing. After letting it sit for about 10 to 15 minutes it will start with out a problem. I was wondering if it is something to do with antitheft or some other problem and most importantly how to fix it. The logs dont show anything and I have taken it to a dealer and they said they couldnt do anything until it happens in there presence. Any help or suggestions will be very much welcomed.

 

I just bought a 92 300d. Turbo is pumping oil into intake. Is it difficult to rebuild turbo or should I buy rebuilt one?
