I just bought a new key for my 2000 ML 320 ........ is there a way of resetting the key or syncing it to unlock and lock the doors ???? I was told the only way to do it is to take it to a Mercedes dealer and pay $75 to $100 ..... there got to be another way , I read the manual and what they say doesn't work , the manual says if it doesn't work to take it to your nearest Mercedes Dealer , I just paid big bucks for the new key at Merceds Benz and now they want me to pay more to sync it ...........any ideas??? Thanks[/align][/align]I tried the Mnaual thing , I got in the car waited for everything to go off , put the key in position 2 , took the key out , pressed and held the lock button , pressed the unlock button 5 times , then let go , and pressed a button again , and nothing !!! , I got new batteries in it , I tried other batteries from another one that works , what else can I do ??[/align]
