I just joined the forum, and have read a bit here, which has been very useful. Here is my problem:

My car smokes a lot, and has terrible black smoke coming out. The Star scan showed as follows:

Cylinder 2 and 3 signal faulty (P2017-008 & P2017-032)
This is probably a wiring problem or earth issue and I am sure the mechanics can fix it.

My problem is that my car is in Africa, and they cant find where the EGR is or what it looks like!!! I have cleaned the intake manifold on top, and the turbocharger. How can I get to the EGR to clean up the carbon, and is it also an electrical problem?

i have mercedes C200 diesel automatic. When i press accelerator, there is no power, it moves very slow, i did a diagnostic and this came up ( Component stored Y27/9(Left EGR postioner). Positioner signals fault

Any suggestion??? thanks
