But there may not be all that much damage. That's why he needs to take it to a repair shop instead of the Internet.

Adi,

Do you have collision coverage on your insurance policy or just liability? Collision would cover this.

Otherwise, take the car to a shop and pay about $60 for the inspection and diagnosis. Then do the repairs yourself with used or internet parts.

If you want to drive a Mercedes on a modest budget you'll have to make the repairs yourself.....believe me because I'm in the same situatioin!

Hey Matt,

No brother i only have liability thats it , no full coverage at all.. well i see that would be the only option for me to take it to the shop and look what i need .. but do you have any ideas, how much would it cost $$ for the parts, like the control arm, ball joint, tie rods, axle etc.. should i put used parts in there or new ones.. but i am thinking if i put new parts on that side the other side might be changed as well. that thing will cost me a fortune though cause that will cost me more than the car is worthet..

anybody can help me with the parts in here, like used parts, you guys have anything , i have paypal waiting..

any other info appreciated..

better lift the car and make initial check.

if some suspension part on the front of the car is bent, the steering will also leak sooner or later because it has been affected by impact.

anyway, the bent part are not really expensive to replace and not a hard job either.

only by doing visual check that you can determine the damaged parts.

four wheel alignment after doing all the job can show if further parts still needs replacement.

they are most easy to change.

if you don't have a ball joint puller, you may need a heavy hammer to knock it hard in order to remove.

your car is 124 or 201? was it really 190E 2.6?

then you can easily do it except for wheel alignment.

about the parts, it's better to get from your area. i don't know where, but the prices are very much similar everywhere.

steering knuckle on your model is strong and not much to flex, but it's better to do measurement on it first to confirm.

the wheel bearing can possibly make noise after a few hundred miles, so it's beeter to replace it also because it is cheap.
