Oil in the Clutch
Hi Everyone
My MB 190 2.0L 1989 feels like the clutch is slipping a bit, especially when cold, when taking off in first gear (very slight juder). I thought the clutch might have been warn but I made a gauge to chech this and it looks ok. However when doing this the gauge came out covered in oil. I'm fairly sure it was oil rather than brake/clutch fluid. So I suspect there is oil in the clutch. Is this a common problem and which is the seal most likely to be responsible for this ... or do you think something else is the problem?
Thanks
Colin
