noisy cam adjuster at start up

Any ideas on why a cam adjuster makes noise at start up till the oil pressure builds up on a 2006 ML350?

It sounds like the tensioner. Do not wait long. If it is the tensioner, failing or slipping chain can cost you a few thousand dollars.
