Noise on speed up to 45 kph
My ride is E220 ’95 manual transmision, I ‘ve got a noise problem when running from 0 – 45 kph, the noise sounds is more loud and frequent upon add the speed. However the noise will disappear on condition follows :
1. above the speed 50 kph.
2. I Push the clutch pedal
3. Neutral gear.
There is no noise also in idle or stay condition, even I raise the rpm engine.
Have u any idea what is going on and cause the problem ??
Thanks.

RE: Noise on speed up to 45 kph
Hi,
What sort of noise?
Have you checked heat shields?
Have you checked engine mounts
Mileage?
When did this start?
What happens when you drive on "balanced throttle" (i.e. not accelerating or deaccelerating) at 40 kph?
What happens if you drive on different road surfaces?
Problem appears to be engine torque sensitive.

RE: Noise on speed up to 45 kph
Hi Stuart,
Many thanks for your soonest answer.
Sorry I can’t describe the proper sound of noise, or I think some kinds of grinding noises (if I not mistake)
What is the heat shields and where is its took place ?
I’ve replaced the engine mounting, but the noise still exist.
The mileage is 83,300 Kilo Meter
Start noise is more than 4 (four) month ago
The noise also still exist on “balanced throttle” at 40 kph, however it will "disappear" at above 50 kph.
Will be same noise on diifferent road surfaces.
What is the meaning of engine torque sensitive and what is the part required to replace and to fix the problem.
Thanks Stuart
