1990 190e 2.6

Car will not idle by itself.
most FI parts are new
noticed that NO electricity is going to either device.
Aren't they supposed to be getting varied voltages between 3 and 12 volts as needed?

you might have to replace your idle air control solenoid. If there's no power getting to it then you have bigger problems... or smaller depending on fuse condition

I pulled the CIS control out today to visually look at the board. Why not? nothing to lose at this point. And I DID notice a burned spot on the circuit board where a diode had smoked. Normally I would be jumping up and down, because THAT is positive logicaldamage, that very well could be source of all my agony with this car. But after getting my butt kicked all week working on it, i'm just not excited. At this point I feel like its going to be another thousand bucks that wont make a difference.
