I am a new mercedes owner, I usually drive bmw's but the mercedes has a new appeal to me. I bought a mercedes c240 2001. I changed the headlights to a set of HID's...here is the problem..if I turn on the headlights while the car is not running the HID's work perfect but as soon as I start the car the HID's start to flicker and continue to flicker. This only happens in the low beams because I switched the HIDs to the high beams and they did not flicker at all. My question is, I guess, has anuone had this problem, is there a low beam relay that could be bad? also when I reinstall the factory H7 bulbs they work fine. I have also switched the HID's out twice thinking that was the problem but the HID's are not the problem. Thanks for any advice!
