Hi,

I'm thinking of changing my wheels on my A 140 (1999) and I would like to know if I could fit 17in wheels with 225/45 R17s tyres at the front and 245/40 R17s at the rear. The wheels are also 7.5 inches wide at the front and 8.5 inches wide at the rear.

Please can anyone advise me if they will fit?

talking of fit, they will of course fit.

but those tires are even wider than what AMG used.

you might be feeling a bit more traction.

I was concerend that the width of the back wheels would be too much. The wheels i'm intersted in are on ebay.co.uk with a title "Brand new genuine 17" Mercedes alloys!!!!!!!!"

I just need to make sure I'm not going to buy the wrong size wheels.
