I've just gotten a 1992 Mercedes 300TE 4-matic wagon. It's in great shape cosmetically and mechanically. But it has 127k miles and it doesn't look like the previous owner kept up on all the scheduled mainenance. The last full service it had was at 90k, so I know it missed two or three major service milestones. I'm wondering if I only need to get the 127k service performed, or whether I need to have the mechanics back up and do whatever service should have been taken care of in the past. What does the 127k service entail and how much should I expect to pay? Finally, does anyone have any suggestions for a reliable, competent, and honest garage in the Seattle area?
