I'm a new member of your forum and just wanted to say hi! I purchased my first merc this year....an SL55....and am finding it an awsome car! My usual weapon of choice has been various Ferrari's....but I have to admit Merc has done a great job with this car. It is great on the road and humilliates most metal that I encounter at the track....oh...if it was only 1500 pounds lighter!!</P>

Welcome (a little late)!!!!

Funny about the Ferrari's, had a buddy I worked with at one time who had a Ferrari, anytime I rode in it with him, he wouldn't let me touch ANYTHING! The electric wings were NEVER used for fear they might break or stop functioning for whatever reason and it would cost him his first born to get it fixed. So he never really used anything but the essentials so he couldn't break whatever it was. Sad.
