hi i just installed a new pineer head unit and whenever it turns on/off scans for radio stations, switched top Aux, ect. i hear a loud pop comming from the speakers. i have the cables plugged into the preamp output so as to not amplify the music louder than necessary, but the pop is louder than the volume is. Please help

 

Sounds like a bad speaker or some mixed up wiring, I would double check your work.

 

i feel like if it were a speaker or a wiring problem, it would constantly pop, but its only when the sound stops for that split second while the headunit switches stations/inputs or turns on/off

 

what is your previous head unit? is this happen before with previous head unit?
