Hi , Many years ago in Germany my father said Grandfather bought a car that won the Alpine Rally.I believe the car to have been a white elephant SSK which are pretty rare. My fathers family were jews and they left Germany in 1939 for England. Anyway.... is there any way to trace any of these old vehicles specifically I would like to know if a car was ever registered to my grandfather , and if so what was the chassis number, model number etc and if it survived the war. These are extremely rare cars and one sold for a staggering 8.5 million dollars a couple years ago. Any help on finding out anything that had to do with documentation of a former factory race car from the 1927-1931 timeframe I would be extremely interested in getting.
