I need a little help (a lot really) identifying a motor and trans. I bought a bunch of cars and parts at an estate sale but I cannot figure out what a particular motor and trans is exactly. I was told by the gentleman's wife (husband passed away) that she thought it was out off her e500 that was totaled a couple of years ago, or it was out of a s500 that was repair work was never paid for so he removed the engine and it sat for a couple of years. both cars she believes were 2005's. the only #'s I can find on the motor are R122 015 13 02 (behind harmonic balancer) r113 014 10 03 on oil pan, and r113 014 12 02 on block. the tranny has 722 901 0 and 220 27 07 301 and 0081946. I would like to find a home for these but I would like to know what to be on the look out for. Any help would be appreciated.

 

or a web site or best place on motor and trans to find correct #'s. I am not a huge mercedes guy, been restoring classic bugs and vans for 10 years. I bought the garage and all it's contents.
