Need desperate help! I convert to R 134, but still no AC
I have done the conversion from R 12 to R 134, on Merc. 300 SD 1981, change the dryer, rings, no leaks and I have the following issues: no cold air, the air blows on the top by the front window, what can be noq?
Need desperate help!!! I spent over $ 350 and nothing goes well!!

MISSONI,
I think your car is not going into the AC mode regardless of what buttons you are pushing. I doubt if the problem ever was refrigerant related.
I think your climate control motor assembly is stuck, and will not allow you to go into the AC mode. Either the motor itself is bad, or the regulator is not telling it to rotate, or the valve asembly is mechanically stuck.
Go to the search box on this site, and search for my step by step troubleshooting guide. To find it, search for: Climate Control and go thru the hits until you find mine from several months ago.
