My passenger side fog light bulb is out on my C240 and upon removing it I noticed a wire bundle coming off the fog light wiring that seems to have some sort of sensor/probe at the end. I assume this sensor is supposed to be somewhere specific, but I have no idea where because it was just dangling. Does anyone know what this is and where it goes?

 

thats your outside temp sensor. should be a small hole for it to fit into near your fog lamp.
