I've had my c230 for a year. I love this car! Recently my husband just fixed my a/c and bought me another key alarm holder. The alarm doesn't work on the key. The key holder was flimsy so my husband changed it. OK, I finally got my a/c fixed ready for the summer. Within a matter of an hour my car wouldn't turn over!!! Could my husband somehow triggered a kill switch when he changed out my key or what? Everything comes on when I put the key in the ignition. Now my beautiful car is just sitting in my driveway! If anyone could please help, I would greatly appreciate it! I would hate to have to sell it to get rid of it. Thanks in advance.

 

Any key on a Benz has to be matched with the vin number if it is an infared sensor key like i have,,,i have a 2001 e320,,im not shure if we have the same kindof key,mine is black where the key slide in it and the end you put in the car,switch has a small red end on it,,,
