I have a 2000 ML320 and just recently when i start my car the engine makes this loud noise and when i start steering the wheels the wheels also make this loud whistle sound. It's only when the engine is warmed up that the noise goes away but i never had any problem with it before. Can anyone tell me what's going on with my car?

 

Check your power-steering fluid level immediately!

find the leak then fill the fluid, those pumps are pretty durable
