Default ml 320 front panal

Hello, I am new to this board.
I thought I would post the problem I have with the ML320 that I am experiencing.
It has 80,000 miles on it.
One night recently when coming home the heater stopped working. Cold air comes through the vents.
Next day all the lights in the front panel stopped working and none of gauges are working.I disconnected the battery and connected it back with no improvement.
I checked the possible fuses and no response.
What do you think is the problem?.
I very much appreciate sharing your experiences of similar nature if you happened to have similar problems.
Thanks

is the engine temp normal? about 90-100 Celcius on your gauge? if its taking a long time for the engine to heat up could be the thermostat. if you car is heating up normally could be a bad headunit. make sure the cooling system has sufficient coolant. maybe there could be air in the coolant system. did you have any work done recently.
