Mercedes in US versus those in Germany
Hello,
I am from Lebanon and most of the resellers here are recently importing cars from the US specially after the Euro became higher than the US $. I knew from the resellers that the main difference is that the Mercedes from the US has different electricity than that of the European. Also, resellers say that the Mercedes coming from the US has more options inside the car (CD, sun roof, ...).
Does anyone know the difference between these 2 kinds. Normally, since Lebanon is in the Middle east, I think that it is better to buy a car coming from Germany (almost similar environment conditions).
Many thanks,

Mercedes in US and Germany are built at the same factory plant.
But since the US and Europe have different emission/crash test standards (and etc..), so there are U.S. spec and Euro spec.

In America, the Mercedes is made by Chrysler, but in Germany they are made by Dodge. The original Mercedes went out of business many years ago.
BTW, none of this is true. The posters ahead of me have right.
