Mechanic may have sabotaged my vechicle

Help! I have a well maintained 1999 MB ML430. 5 Days ago, I top off the fuel tank and drive about 3 miles and coolant level sensor lite up. Water pump hose blew. Drove carefully to nearest shop. Next day pick up from garage and drive 5 minutes and the fan shroud shifted, hit fan, broke fan apart, piece of shroud into radiator causing major leakage. Brought back. Repaired no charge. Got it back yesterday. Qtr less gas, with Ck Eng light on, 2 misfire codes, a trans mode code P0700 HOW did this happen?
No check engine light on prior to dropping off to shop. Any codes were erased prior as well. Plus a loose gas cap code pulled, and remember, My gauge showed a 1/4 tank less on fuel.
What are your thoughts on this?
