I am actually a Bimmer owner. Have 2 Bimmers (5 & 3 series). I have been reading a lot about the MB E 320 CDI lately (not the Bluetec but the CDI that has been built till 2006). The engine seems to be a real technological wonder?! I have been playing with the thought of selling my BMW 530i (2001 with sport package) and buying a 2005 or 2006 MB 320 CDI.
Would you guys please share with me the experience you have had with the 320 CDI sofar? Is this the engine so good like the reviews say? Is that noisy like other MB diesel engines? How is the gas mileage? How is the car in general compaired with a 5 series?
I appreciate your help, you never know, I might join the MB family soon?!
