Hi. the horn on my 1985 280ce is shot. allthoguh sometimes it makes a little squeek, it usually is silent, which is a real hastle living ina town with busy streets. First of all, does anyone kno where the ohrn itself is located under the hood? and secondly, does anyone kno how to clear up this problem? answers and help would be much appreciated, thanks!

 

If the horns are where my 81 300CD are, they are under the front bumper on either side of the radiator. I can see mine with the tires turned right and looking thru the wheel opening. Right side. probably a poor ground or dirty connection.

 

ok thanks alot! also, if i did need a new one, would you know where to get one? would it be cheaper to get one on the internet? or directly from MBZ? im guessing the internet.
