Major oil leak

Jack, I have a head gasket leak and it is about $2500 to fix it. I know it sounds crazy but I changed viscosity oil and honestly it leaks considerably less. I always use synthetic. Worth a try.

Buck,

Worth a try. What weight are you using?v I'm using Rotella 30wt. single grade, not 10W30.

Jack, I don't know what your climate is but I would use at least 15W 40 synthetic. maybe even, with that many miles, 20W 50.

Buck,

Dallas ares... hotter'n blue blazes in the summer, seldom gets into the teens in the winter.
Will try the 20W50 and see what happens.
