Hello. I'm new to this forum and new to Mercedes. I acquired a 1986 Mercedes 300SDL when my aunt (91) gave up driving last year. It needs a little work on the sunroof. I've been to the libraries looking for a Chilton's or other maintenance book that would cover this auto but have not found any. The local Mercedes dealer says he can sell me a maintenance manual CD but can't show me the table of contents to see if it will cover what I need. Does anyone know where I can find a copy of a maintenance manual that will show how to take the interior apart without causing damage and show the sunroom components? Thanks.

 

Do some searching on Ebay. Get the stuff created by MB. If someone doesn't state who created the data, walk away. Look for the WIS if you can't find anything specific to you car.

 

try to check ebay, lots of good finds at a good deal. or check also some online stores. good luck
