read somewhere in the posts about the common problem of 4 matics leaking - have a '90 300E and its leaking, is there a common problem area - would like to be able to concentrate my looking to that area - or any other suggestions - I fill the reservoir and it pumps the fluid out rather quickly - where to look??? thanks, Charlie...

 

solved the problem of the leak!! The gentleman from Canada was thrilled to buy the vehicle as is and is sending a flatbed to pick it up - my "trouble child" is being sent to a new country with a new warden.......

 

it isn't the service valve which was switched open?
