iPod input
We currently havea loan ML 350 which has the iPod input in the glovebox. Because it is a loaner, the manuals are not with it. It does not have a command system, (nav, dvd video etc) and has only buttons for CD, CDC and Radio. Does any one know how to get the iPod to work, or are all the ML's nowbeing made with the input in the glovebox, whether or not you paid for the option and the wiring behind the input may not be there. Do you get a specific button for the iPod input if you optioned it.

RE: iPod input
On my car, a C320, if you press AND HOLD the CDC button for a few seconds the radio flips over to Auxiliary-In. The actual connectivity however is not complete and requires a wee bit more work. It is odd that Mercedes seemed to go NEARLY all the way to support Aux-In and then stopped shy of completing it. I am using a Belkin gadget for my iPod, it sticks in the ash-tray cigarette lighter and transmits on FM, works fine. Anyway, try the CDC button.
