Question Ip press regulating banjo weak / not adjustable

Having problem with low pressure at IP inlet due mostly to fixed/weak banjo bolt on outlet. Can this be helped by adding an adjustable regulator in the hose? Squeezing the hose increases pressure up to lift pump ability so seems doable until the right banjo can be obtained. If no one has tried it will let forum know how it works. Thanks in advance for any ideas/help.

Hi Forced
Thanks for reply. Don't plan to block it, only put an adjustable regulator in line set to pressure the banjo bolt should be minus what it is now (25?-10now=15psi on added series regulator). Seems like it would work until can get correct banjo or fix this one.

Default Weak IP Press

Thanks again Forced. I hoped that was the case but have not tested it yet. Today I tried looping fuel return, couple seconds only, back to LP inlet and see almost 20psi at IP and less than 3 when returning to tank so appears LP can put out the pressure if not the flow. Not sure if IP regulator working good until I get more flow to it. This also may be plugged strainer so will try cleaning it. Again, thanks.
