Interior air filter, 2003 C240

HI:

How do I change the cabinair filter in a 2003 C240? Thanks for the help.

3 clips upper right side of firewall on top of battery.

About a 2 minute job without tools.

On my 2000 C280 evey time I turn the car on or the AC off it makes a loud thumping sound. How do I stop that?
