Hi,
I am new to the forum so hello first of all, sadly my 1st post is due to a problem i have with a c220 cdi i have just bought its a 51 plate.
I was hearing a hissing sound when accelerating, i have removed the bumper and found that at some point it looks like the intercooler as took a knock, there is some slight damage to the grill part of it (nothing serious) but around the seam of it (left hand edge) there is a slight gap this is allowing air out.
My question is can i repair this in anyway, rather than replacing the intercooler.
Also i was thinking of removing the intercooler so it would be easier to work on, but i cant seem to get it off.

Any advice welcome.
